We celebrated the 4th of July twice this year. On the 3rd, we went to a park with a few families from our church for a BBQ and watched the firework display over the lake. The weather was perfect. The kids played on the playground, we did sparklers, and had lots of fun!
On the 4th we went to the Arvada festival with the Crawfords. It was fairly cold out that day, but we still had lots of fun! There were several bouncy castles, slides, etc. to play on; Grandma brought crafts; we ate lots of yummy food; painted our faces; enjoyed each other's company.
