Swimming with Friends

Our friends, the Bales, invited us to swim with them. The Colliers, Biddisons, & Kuennings also came. It was Rebekah's first time in a pool and Naomi's first time jumping off a diving board!

Richard was so excited when the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. All the kids were joining in the celebration.

Summer Reading Program at the Brighton Library

The Brighton Library had activities each week. One time Leona, Manoah, and Owen Collier joined us. We had a picnic lunch with them that day at a nearby park.

Summer Shows at the Denver Public Library

This summer the library had free shows as part of their reading program. Naomi was picked to be in the show almost every time! She was the captain in a pirate show, she got to use a puppet, and be the sun in a story.

Swimming Lessons

Naomi & Gabriel took swimming lessons this summer at Safe Splash Swim School. We were all amazed at how much they learned in such a short amount of time! At the end of the summer they were swimming across the entire length of the pool doing breath stroke and back stroke, they could tread water, they dove to the bottom of the pool to pick up rings, & more!

Field Day - May 2010

Field Day was on the last day of school and was only a half day. Of course it was a blast! The kids participated in lots of fun activities. Auntie Krista was there with Trisha, Reuben, and Rebekah to cheer them on!
