We went to our Pastor's house for a super bowl party. Of course there was a ton of food, video games, board games, and football!

An Attempt at Family Pictures
One day in January, Teresa and Krista were over and they offered to take pictures of our family. It ended up being a little more difficult than we thought! It was frustrating at first, but in the end it was one of those times that we look back at and laugh. Take a look and see what I mean...
Naomi in the School Talent Show
Naomi didn't waste any time and jumped right into school activities. She played a song on the piano at her school's talent show. She did such a great job! We were all very proud of her! In the picture below you'll see Grandma Cynthia and cousin Scarlet who came as well.
Naomi & Gabriel's 1st Day of Public School - Jan. 2009
Naomi & Gabriel had been home schooled since they first were in Kindergarten, but Richard & I decided it would be best to put them into public school. We understand that God wants us to be in the world building relationships with people in order to share the gospel with them. Public school is such a great place for the kids to carry out Christ's command! So their first day of public school was in January 2009.
Gingerbread House with Grandma
As a fun New Year's treat Grandma Cindy invited the kids to make a gingerbread house with her. It sure was messy, tasty, and loads of fun! When they were done, the kids played dress-up.
New Year's Eve - December 31, 2008
We celebrated New Year's Eve at the house of our good friends the Kuennings. The Colliers, Phillips, Bales, and Sandra's parents joined us as well. We had a fabulous fondue dinner, watched movies, ate lots of candy, and the kids played video games.
